Dr. Ashley Paige Allen

Dr. Ashley Paige Allen is the Executive Director of the Houston Community Land Trust in Houston TX. She has 16 years of non-profit leadership and program development experience. She was a community organizer in Chicago, IL for 10 years and worked as a consultant for the Barack Obama Foundation where she planned and implemented the foundation’s initiative to develop the next generation of community organizers and advocates. Ashley's experience as a homeless youth ignited her passion to increase housing accessibility and affordability. Ashley holds a B.S. in Food Science from Florida A&M University, an M.P.A from Governors State University and a Ph.D. in Cultural and Educational Policy with a concentration in Sociology from Loyola University Chicago.
