Dr. Maria Green has over 20 years of human resources experience in healthcare, higher education, hospitality, human services, and transportation environments. Maria is an adjunct associate professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus School of Business where she teaches human resources courses. Maria is also an instructor for Towson University’s Professional in Human Resources Dual Certification course. Maria earned a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2021. Maria’s dissertation, "Sounds Insignificant, Feels Harmful: Mitigating the Impact of Microaggressions in U.S. Based Workplaces," is published on ProQuest. Maria holds SHRM-SCP, SPHR, and Certified Employee Benefits Specialist certifications. Maria is a qualified administrator for the Intercultural Development Indicator (IDI).
