Dr. Michelle E. Bates, LCSW

Dr. Michelle Bates is the MSW Director of Field Education at Fayetteville State University and is a licensed clinical social worker. Dr. Bates has over 12 years of experience in the field of social work and has worked in various settings to include Marine Corps Base Quantico, Ft. Bragg, county government, non-profit, and private practice. Dr. Bates’ research interests include rural social work and forensic social work. When she is not conducting research or teaching, Dr. Bates enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children.
