Karen Boone

Karen Y. Boone, PhD, MN, MPH, RN, is an August 2022 graduate of the Doctor of Philosophy in Public Health Program, with a concentration in community health education, at Walden University. Her research interests include cancer survivorship, cancer health equity, and fortitude and spiritual fortitude in African American breast cancer survivors. Her career includes work in public health at the community, state, and federal levels.
