Mrs. Cardia Swift is a 2nd Year Doctoral Student and BSW Field Coordinator/Lecturer in the Whitney M. Young Junior School of Social Work at Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA. She earned her MSW degree in May 2000, specializing in children & families, from Howard University in Washington, DC. She has worked in mental health, health care, family preservation & has an adjunct faculty. She holds her clinical social work license from the State of Georgia & California. Her research interest is the impact of COVID-19 on social work students & the field education experience. Mrs. Swift is member of Association of Baccalaureate Social Work Program Directors (BDP), Black Doctoral Network, and the Council on Social Work Education.
