This presentation will discuss a qualitative study based on the experiences of lower income black mothers who were pregnant during the COVID-19 pandemic; and how the effects of digital exclusion from maternal tele healthcare as well as other acts of discrimination in the medical field related to systemic or structural racism as a social health determinant affected their natal experiences and lives today.
