In this workshop, we explore how The National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Environmental Justice Executive Order No. 12,898 provide activists, citizens, federal agencies, and regulatory bodies with a framework to predict the impacts of policy. With the Black American community as a case study, we further demonstrate how NEPA can be leveraged as a tool to prevent policy and regulation from infringing on Black American civil rights.
