This presentation will discuss the impact of consistent exposure to opportunities in STEM for Black and Brown students in K-20 environments in an effort to diversify the field, and make it more inclusive. Our work discusses the value of Community Cultural Wealth (CCW) and Culturally Relevant Pedagogy as a tool to support persistence.
