This presentation will discuss spirituality as a culturally connected tool for working with Older African Americans in recovery. Spirituality will be explored as an empowering tool throughout the African American racially traumatic experience in this country and how it can support the recovery process. This presentation will consist of engaging spirituality by professionals in the field for future work.
