Mark C. Grafenreed

Mark C. Grafenreed, native of Memphis, Tennessee, is a doctoral student in the Graduate Program in Religious Studies at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas in the field of Religion and Culture. His research interests explore the intersections between critical race theory and religion, evangelical Christianity, Methodism, and the evolving role of the universal Church in society and culture. Mark was ordained as an Elder in Full Connection with the Texas Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church in 2020 and has been a licensed Texas attorney since 2003.
