This presentation will discuss the Black female leaders' experiences in education who are often underrepresented and perceived as invisible. Using Black Feminist Thought (BFT) as the guiding framework, interviews revealed: White dominance reinforces systems that impact them; their experiences were not unique, but pervasive; and the need for overt and covert support is imperative.
