This presentation will discuss the how the Black Identity Development model (Cross, 1994) mediates the Culturally Engaging Campus Environment Model (Museus et al. 2017) to support Black students’ sense of belonging and trajectory toward their educational goals when enrolled at California Community Colleges leading toward academic success.
