This presentation will discuss the challenges of intersectionality, the many roles they hold (voluntary and involuntary), and the benefits and challenges in the social and academic spaces. We will also explore the findings, limitations, and implications may provide academic institutions more insight into what Black women enrolled and attending their institutions are experiencing while providing exposure and areas of opportunity to provide a stronger and improved experience.
